Man City/Tottenham - Thursday 1/19
Only one game today. How do you backup a loss to Man U? By absolutely destroying Tottenham, which I totally see happening here. Tottenham has looked awful. Their only win recently came against a Palace team that has trouble of their own. They got blanked at home back-to-back in the EPL, and barely pulled out a win at home against Portsmouth. City looked good until late goals by United put them over the edge. City has by far the most goals at home, and they play a more open game leaving them a bit vulnerable on the counter. That being said, I just don't see how Tottenham can hang in this one. City is coming off a bad Carabao Cup loss also, and I just see them coming out firing at home taking advantage of a leaky Tottenham defense. Let's not forget the Spurs have given up 2 or more goals in 8 of their last 9 EPL games. I like City laying 1.5 and going with the over in the goals and I'm upping it to 3.5.
